Wacton

This website eventamania, is a new venture for the Wacton Village Hall as a major part of our fundraising as a social enterprise iniative. This iniative is funded through Business Link,  and EEDA with a grant for £1500, and built by Warner Media Designs.

MISSION STATEMENT

EVENTAMANIA IS DEDICATED TO CONDUCTING THE HIGHEST QUALITY  AND TOTALLY ACCESSIBLE EVENT INFORMATION SITE WITHOUT COMPROMISE

This site is for any village, community, organization, group, community association or individual that is charity based, or non government funded or non-profit making and/or is too small to have its own publicity for fundraising, or a personal website , and would like to raise its profile and increase its publicity for any and all events it runs through the year.

Wacton is a small Village located about one mile South West of Long Stratton. It covers an area of 4.54 km2, (1.75 sq mi) and has a population of 319.  Its church, All Saints, is one of 124 round-tower churches in Norfolk, the only other public building in the village is Wacton Village Hall which is in the process of being rebuilt by volunteers in our community.

Wacton Village Hall exists for the purpose of meeting the needs of users, benefiarcies and residents within our local and extended community; needs which are rapidly changing.  To build our hall, we as a community like many other villages do a lot of fundraising, about 20 different events through the year, involving our local and wider community.

We aim to provide educational, social  and leisure activities, including fitness and wellbeing for the community, covering all age ranges and abilities, including ensuring all our activities are accessable to the disabled, as our newly built hall is fully DDA compliant.

As our village hall is a focal point for all community activities that can bring together members of the community, to  help and support each ohter. Eventamania is designed to be the focal point for all communities and to bring together all of us who need to fundraise to also help and support each other.
